I’m a writer and editor from the East Bay in California. I grew up figure skating and ran Division 1 college track and cross-country. I have a PhD in English with an emphasis in ethnic and minority literature from UC Santa Barbara, where I taught in the English and writing departments.

I did a fact-checking internship at Harper’s Magazine and am a line editor at Vanity Fair, where I handle fact-checking, copyediting, and legal matters across everything from features to newsletters. I write about books, TV, film, and sports. I live in NYC.
